30 Hubs In 9 Days
60I recently logged into HubPages and hopped into the forums to see what was going on around here. I had gotten the email about the Helpful Health Hubs, and although I didn’t enter any of my work, I decided it was time to make a move and do some more publishing. I'd been in and out of here for 2 years and only had 30 something hubs to speak of.
I noticed the 30 day hub challenge links, and thought that might be fun to participate in; it would give me the prod I needed to get back into writing regularly, and make a few new friends in the process. If you’re new to HubPages, I recommend hanging out in the forum first to get to know your way around here, and to meet some new and inspiring people.
I had written one article already that day, when I saw a link about writing 30 hubs, and to start anytime. As I read thorough the posts I decided there was no time like the present, so let’s get moving. I didn’t want to count the one from that morning because I would feel as though I were cheating myself, so I posted a reply to the topic announcing my intention to join in. After I hit that button, I realized it was the 22nd of the month. Now what?
Knowing now I had to make a run at it, I began writing like a mad thing so I could meet my goal of 30 hubs in 9 days, then start fresh beginning April Fool’s Day. So, this is my last article of that 30 I promised, and although I’m not a gazillionaire as of this moment, my traffic has increased in leaps and I am confident it will continue and translate into some decent spendable cash. Now I know I can write that many quality articles from scratch, and publish them in nine days, there is absolutely no excuse for not doing at least 30 hubs every 30 days.
While I was cruising around other user’s hubs that first day, I came across a hilarious article by Bryan Robertson about southern slang words. Every funny I read prompted a mental counter with the Australian slang equivalent, so I decided that might be a fun topic to write about along the way.
So, tomorrow I begin a new challenge. I think I’ll make it a point to do at least 60 more hubs in the next 30 days…because now I know I can, why not go for it? Thank you to everyone who has visited my hubs and offered words of support and encouragement. If I am able to answer any questions about self hypnosis, please feel free to send me a message anytime, and I will be more than happy to help.
Happy Hubbing!

Wow, that is quite a feat! Congrats :)
Sometimes I think the best way to be productive is to impose a crazy deadline on yourself. For my college work it always seem like the papers I write an hour before they're due get better grades than the ones I work really hard on lol.

I had a hard enough time doing 15 hubs in 30 days. Can't believe you did 30 in 9.
But I suppose we all have different writing rhythms
